Job: Senior Product Marketing Manager – Amazon Canada

About Amazon in Toronto

Alright, so Amazon’s not just that place you buy random stuff at 2 a.m. (though, guilty as charged). In Toronto, it’s a juggernaut—think retail, AWS (that’s cloud stuff), logistics, and a whole ad machine. The place is buzzing, and the Toronto crew isn’t just shipping boxes—they’re in the weeds with Alexa, Prime Video, and all that AWS wizardry. Basically, it’s a playground for innovation, and a big deal for Amazon’s Canadian ambitions.

The office vibe? Fast, hungry, lots of “let’s make it happen” energy. There’s a whole thing about Leadership Principles, like Customer Obsession (yep, they actually mean it), Dive Deep, and Invent & Simplify. No pressure.

The Gig

Amazon Canada’s hunting for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who can take the reins on big-deal marketing campaigns—think everything from Diwali to Halloween to the holiday madness. You’re not just running ads; you’re owning the whole show, from “what’s the plan?” to “did we crush it?” And you’ll be doing it for millions of Canadian customers. No biggie.

You’ll need to juggle strategy, data, and execution like a circus act. It’s cross-team chaos (in a good way), lots of moving parts, and you’ll need to pull out insights that actually move the needle. Basically, you’ve got to be sharp, nimble, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves when stuff gets wild.

What You’ll Actually Do

– Run the show for Canadian retail events—Mother’s Day, holidays, you name it.
– Team up with category folks and the mothership teams to launch big, splashy campaigns that get people clicking and buying.
– Be the person who always asks: “Would Canadian customers actually like this?” If not, fix it.
– Build systems so everyone’s on the same page—lots of comms, lots of teamwork, keep leadership in the loop.

What You Need to Bring

– At least 6 years in the marketing trenches (post-internship, so, you know, real experience).
– You live and breathe data—Excel, Tableau, whatever it takes to find the story in the numbers.
– You’ve run cross-functional marketing projects before and didn’t just survive—you thrived.
– You’ve helped launch consumer products, whether it’s apps, gadgets, or who-knows-what.
– You’re crazy organized and can keep a million balls in the air without losing your mind.
– Fast-paced chaos? You eat that for breakfast.
