Position : ASSISTANT MANAGER/ DEPUTY MANAGER-HSE

We are looking for proactive and experienced HSE professional to join our team as an “Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager – HSE” in our processing plant. The right person should have proven skills in occupational health, safety and environment management, to further workplace compliance and standards of safety.

QUALIFICATION: BSC/MSC CERTIFICATIONS: IOSH, NEBOSH AND OSHAS (Exposure to SMETA will be an added advantage)

EXPERIENCE: 05-08 Years of Experience (Preferably from relevant or textile industry)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

So yeah, you’ll basically be juggling all things health, safety, and environmental (HSE) – making sure the company doesn’t get slapped with fines or, you know, burst into flames. You’ll be the go-to for updating, checking, and rolling out any HSE policies, keeping an eye on what’s legal and what’s just industry nonsense that people swear by.

You’ll walk around a lot, poking into corners and closets—hunting for anything that screams “hazard!” You’ll have to figure out what could go wrong (spoiler: it’s usually something messy), slap some controls on those risks, and then hope it keeps everyone out of trouble.

Instead of being glued to your desk, you’re out there doing audits and inspections. Yeah, you get to play safety police. And then, just when your coworkers think they’re safe—boom! Training time. Gotta whip everyone into shape so they don’t do anything super dumb and know what to do if things go sideways.

You’re also wrangling fire safety stuff, running emergency drills (maybe scare them a little for good measure), and checking if people actually wear their PPE instead of just leaving it to gather dust.

If someone does manage to have an “incident,” you’re doing detective work: finding out the “how” and “why,” then bossing everyone around until stuff gets fixed. Oh, and let’s not forget, if your boss needs a hand with anything else, you’ll probably get dragged into that too—all in the name of keeping people safe… and out of the headlines.
