A bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by HEC. A postgraduate degree/MBA is preferred.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀

• At least 5 years of experience in the banking industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in a branch banking environment.
• Knowledge of basic financial principles, banking principles, local and operational regulations, and risk management pertaining to the banking industry. Experience with Islamic banking products and services is desired.
  Job role & Responsibilities
• Facilitate the multi-dimensional growth objectives (deposits, advances & profit, Trade Finance) of the Islamic banking division through maximizing sales by enhancing existing relationships and sourcing new business opportunities while delivering exceptional service and efficient reviewing controls to limit all risks through compliance with KYC/AML, SBP & Internal Policies/Shari’ah, Processes, and Credit Manual /Circulars, as directed. Design and execute plans for the growth of the Deposits and Advances portfolios and other businesses including cross sell.
• Make sure that all financial targets are achieved for the Islamic Banking branch and ensure that there is cost controls and peak revenue generation via “good selling” and plugging of revenue leakages in the branch. (CA Deposit, SA Deposit, FCY Deposit, Total Deposit, Finances, Trade, No of NTB Accounts, Dormant Accounts Activation, violation of regulatory requirement in managing unclaimed deposits).
• Preparation & execution of sales strategies to deepen current relationships as well as to recognize new opportunities for accomplishing Islamic branch’s multidimensional objectives (deposits, advances, profits, trade finance, consumer lending, cross-sell, etc.)
• Train and encourage all front-end personnel to cultivate their technical and fundamental competencies. Direct them in alignment with the sales plan for overall sales maximization. (Self-training and employee training)
• Full compliance to Service Management Program through service issue resolution by having ongoing reviews and enhancements of processes, practices and resources to ensure service delivery is being delivered as per customer retention objectives.
• Periodic review of operational activities in the context of audit reports and assist in reinforcing internal controls in the Islamic branch operations as per the Bank and SBP regulatory compliance (KYC, AML, BCP, etc.) Audit rating.
• The Status of Residual Branch Audit Issues. Pending FCCM Alerts.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and people management skills. Must have reasonable influencing skills. Good relationship management skills.
