Job Summary The Manager, Corporate Finance & Investment Banking (CF&IB) supports the Department Head of CF&IB in dealing with originating, structuring, and executing transactions with local and international banks, investors, DFIs, and capital markets participants. The role requires strong knowledge of deal structuring, negotiation, execution of transactions and mobilising financing, guarantees, and exotic structures for PMIC. The Manager, Corporate Finance & Investment Banking (CF&IB) will also be manage stakeholder engagements, new product, and market development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with relevant external stakeholders including rating agencies, legal counsel, regulators, consultant, etc. in the course of transaction execution.
- Monitor and manage relationships with commercial banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), multilateral agencies, international investors, micro-impact funds (MIVs), impact funds and capital markets to address the financing needs of the business.
- Assist in sourcing and executing investment banking transactions including bilateral and multilateral bank debt facilities, as well as debt capital markets products (bond, commercial paper, securitization), subordinated debt, guarantees/risk sharing structures etc.
- Prepare, edit or comment on drafts or new versions financial models, valuations, information memoranda, pitch books and investor presentations, relating to fundraising and transaction execution.
- Aid in transaction negotiations, term sheets, due diligence, legal documentation and closing.
- Prepare periodic portfolio and market reports, risk analyses and board/committee submissions to assist with decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of and participate in the development of new products and innovative financing
- structures consistent with PMIC’s strategic objectives.
- Provide assistance with knowledge sharing initiatives, investor events, and capacity building workshops
- conducted by the department.Education Preferably master’s degree in finance.
- CFA/AACA/CA certifications are also encouraged to apply.
Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
