Asst. Production Managers Biscuits & Confectionery Location: Plant (Raiwind)

Role Overview

A capable and proactive Assistant Production Manager is sought to supervise the biscuit and confectionery production operations. Among the responsibilities are the management of production processes, staff, and machinery to make sure that the whole production is secure, efficient, and of the best quality. Furthermore, the role makes sure that the company’s rules concerning Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, and GMP are being followed.

Ensure that all production lines strictly follow the GMP, hygiene, and food safety & quality standards requirements. Keep an eye on and manage the usage of raw materials, wastage of packaging materials (wrappers), and the efficiency of the entire production process. Encourage and support the introduction of new methods and Kaizen automation projects that will make the factory more productive and the processes more reliable. Take a leading role in plant optimization projects to enhance performance and lower operating costs. Be in charge of, educate, and give production teams the motivation to get the company into the manufacturing perfection area and the society of constant improvement.

What we’re looking for

• B.Sc./B.E. in Food Technology or Chemical Engineering.
• 4-5 years in biscuit/confectionery or food manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of production planning, process control, and quality systems (HACCP, ISO, FSSC 22000).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
