We are looking for Assistant Manager – Finance Location: Johar Town, Lahore

Qualifications

• 3 plus years of relevant experience preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing concern.
• Qualified CMA, or CA-Inter.

Knowledge and skills

• Strong command of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ERP system.
• Sound understanding of taxation, audit coordination, and financial compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities and Duties To assist in achieving departmental objectives through;

You will be responsible for daily accounting operations management which include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, review of the General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, and control of Fixed Assets. You will be responsible for making sure that the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings are done precisely and punctually. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting the financial statements, MIS reports, and management analysis for the decision-making process. You will be responsible for verifying that the accounting standards, internal policy, and law requirements are not violated. You will be responsible for managing the cash flow, vendor payments, and receivables monitoring to ensure that the liquidity is ideal. You will be responsible for giving direction and support to the accounting personnel while maintaining books of accounts and records free of errors.You will be responsible for instituting and strengthening internal controls, guaranteeing process effectiveness, and risk reduction. You will be responsible for collaborating with other departments within the company to support the budgeting, forecasting, and controlling of costs initiatives. You will be responsible for monitoring and enhancing the use of ERP, ensuring that the data is accurate and reporting is done timely.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounts
• Minimum HEC recognized Bachelor’s degree preferably pursuing ACCA, ICMA, or CA-Inter

Knowledge and skills

• Strong knowledge of taxation, audit, and statutory compliance in Pakistan.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP, QuickBooks).
• Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities and Duties To assist in achieving departmental objectives through;

• Ensure timely compliance with all statutory requirements including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax filings.
• Prepare and maintain statutory ledgers, registers, and documentation.
• Assist in preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Reconcile statutory accounts and ensure proper record-keeping of tax challans, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Monitor changes in tax and regulatory laws and update management on implications.
• Support internal control implementation and ensure compliance with company’s financial policies and SOPs.
• Assist in monthly closings, financial reconciliations, and management reporting as required.
• Coordinate with banks, consultants, and internal departments for statutory and financial matters.
