Business Development Manager | Law Firm Jobs In Dubai
This is a 9-month gig (yep, fixed term) as a Business Development Manager with a heavy-hitting international law firm in Dubai. You’ll be right in the thick of the Dispute Resolution crew, rolling up your sleeves with the local BD trio, plus all the regional and global bigwigs. The goal? Make the firm look like absolute legends in the market, keep clients happy, and bring in fresh business. If you get a buzz from fast-paced, high-stakes environments and you actually enjoy juggling a million things at once… honestly, you’ll fit right in.
Who are these folks?
Global powerhouse, for real. They don’t mess around—big clients, fancy deals, serious innovation. If you want to work somewhere that actually invests in their people and gives you the tools to crush it, this is that place. You’ll be surrounded by smart, ambitious people who want to win (and don’t hide it).
What you’ll actually be doing:
Business Planning & Strategy
– Work with regional leadership to come up with business plans and budgets (yes, there will be spreadsheets).
– Take the lead on BD projects—pitches, campaigns, targeting new clients, you name it.
– Keep everyone connected across offices and regions, so nobody’s reinventing the wheel.
– Help organize and support travel, meetings, and all those “let’s get things done” sessions.
– Keep the BD budget humming along and make sure the money goes where it matters.
Winning Work & Pitches
– Run the show when it comes to bids and proposals (bring your A-game—competition’s fierce).
– Manage who’s on what panel, track every new business lead, and make sure nobody drops the ball with follow-ups.
– Create slick marketing and BD materials that actually get noticed.
– Nail the process for pitches—best practices only, please.
– Dig into what’s working (and what’s not) with win/loss analysis, then actually do something about it.
Marketing & Profile-Raising
– Team up with PR and comms to make sure the firm is everywhere in the Middle East (in a good way).
– Handle those all-important directory submissions and league tables—yes, rankings matter.
– Make client events and sponsorships worth the time and money.
– Keep the brand looking sharp across every channel.
Client Development & Relationship Management
– Get in the weeds with client relationships—this is about real engagement, not just schmoozing.
– Help partners sniff out new business in all the right places.
– Run client feedback programs that actually lead to change (not just reports that gather dust).
– Work with the wider BD team to amp up the firm’s client development game.
Internal Ops & Best Practice
– Make BD run like a well-oiled machine—best practices, cross-team mojo, the whole lot.
– Use CRM and business intel tools to keep ahead of the curve.
– Make sure everyone’s playing by the same BD rulebook.
Why bother?
– You’ll work for a top firm that’s big in the Middle East (seriously, they’re everywhere).
– You’ll get face time with senior leaders and global teams.
– All the best BD tools and platforms at your fingertips.
– Salary’s solid (AED 30k–35k/month—nothing to sneeze at).
– Rub shoulders with big clients and be in the room for the important stuff.
What you need:
– At least 5 years in BD, client management, or marketing—ideally in legal or pro services (no, running your cousin’s Instagram doesn’t count).
– You gotta be organized and able to lead—think project manager energy, not “I’ll get to it next week.”
– Top-notch comms skills (writing and talking; you can’t hide behind email forever).
– Experience working with bigwigs, handling clients, and actually delivering results.
– Know your way around CRM and marketing systems.
– Proactive, commercial, and not afraid to chase real targets.
