Bosch Group
About the Company
Alright, here’s the lowdown—Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is basically the tech arm of Bosch (yes, *that* Bosch, the one your dad trusts for power tools). They’re totally owned by Robert Bosch GmbH, running the show for end-to-end Engineering, IT, and Business Solutions. Over 28,200 people work here, which is honestly wild. It’s their biggest software hub outside Germany, so yeah, Bosch India is kind of a big deal. They’ve got people everywhere—US, Europe, Asia Pacific. Global domination vibes, you get the idea.
What You’ll Be Doing
Okay, onto the actual gig. Here’s what you gotta bring to the table:
– 4 to 6 years getting your hands dirty doing end-to-end SAP PI/PO and CPI stuff. Not just the easy bits—you’ve been there for the whole ride, from kickoff to support headaches.
– Real experience with adapter configs. You know your way around the tech, not just reading manuals but actually fixing things when they blow up.
– You can whip up interfaces to move data around—transactional, master, whatever. If it talks to S4, SuccessFactors, C4C, Concur, Ariba, or any other BTP services via CPI, you’re on it.
– You get SAP PO and CPI architecture. Like, you don’t just nod along in meetings—you actually understand how it all fits together.
– Bonus points if you’ve dabbled with other middleware. Boomi? WebMethods? Bring it on.
– Message mapping and scripting don’t scare you. You can bend data to your will.
Integration Jedi Moves
– Set up adapters in SAP PO and CPI (SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, SFTP—you know the drill), flying solo if needed.
– Keep data flowing between SAP PO, CPI, and whatever random external systems the business throws your way. If something breaks? You’ll sort it.
– Build, launch, and babysit integration flows. Stick to best practices, but also, let’s be real—sometimes you gotta get creative.
– You don’t just fix problems—you design solutions that actually scale and don’t make future-you curse present-you.
– You’re the go-to person when adapter stuff gets weird and nobody else knows what’s going on.
Teamwork & Comms
– You don’t hide in a corner—you work with analysts, end-users, all sorts. If they have integration requirements, you figure out what they *really* need (even if they don’t know themselves).
– You can explain techy stuff without making people’s eyes glaze over.
– When things get tricky, you dig in until you’ve cracked it—no “not my problem” attitude here.
– You play well with others but can also get stuff done solo.
Bonus Points if You’ve Got:
– SAP Certified Development Professional – SAP Cloud Platform Integration (not mandatory, but hey, it looks good)
– SAP Certified Development Professional – SAP Process Orchestration (same deal as above)
If you’ve read this far and still think, “Yeah, I’ve got this,” you should probably hit apply.
